Policies & cancellations
Students are expected to arrive for lessons on time, to bring all books with written assignments completed - including red assignment books with practice times noted - and to come prepared to play assigned materials to the best of their ability.
Lesson is forfeited (no refund, credit or make-up) if student arrives more than 10-minutes late. Lessons may also be abbreviated or forfeited if student arrives without his or her books.
If you need to reschedule or cancel a lesson for any reason, please call or text Miss Marcy (no emails, please!) at (214) 402-8512 as early as possible and no later than noon the day of the lesson.
Every effort will be made to accommodate changes to lesson dates and times if possible and given sufficient notice - via call or text from a parent.
Credits and make-up lessons are available only for doctor's appointments (with at least one week's notice), or in the event of illness or family emergency. There will be no exceptions for band, sports, play practices, chorus, family outings, vacations, after-school activities or anything else, so please schedule accordingly.
